When I published Quarterback: An Immigrant’s Guide to Corporate North America in June 2025,  it spoke directly to professionals who had immigrated to pursue opportunities in a new country and were navigating the challenge of re-entering their chosen fields.

The message resonated far beyond North America hence why Quarterback sold at #1 consistently for 99 days. Thousands of professionals across the world shared how the strategies and struggles in the book reflected their reality and helped them reframe their journey as an advantage, not a setback.

As I engaged with more professionals globally, a deeper pattern emerged. The challenge was not only on the side of the individual trying to adapt. There was also a leadership gap.

Today’s workforce is more multicultural than ever, yet many leaders are still relying on outdated approaches that do not reflect the diversity of the teams they lead.

It is one thing to immigrate and learn to adapt to a new environment. It is another thing entirely to be led in a way that allows you to be fully seen, fully valued, and able to contribute at your highest potential.

I realized that even when individuals do everything right, they can still struggle to thrive if the leadership environment does not create the conditions for them to succeed.

This book was born out of a clear need to close that gap.

Leading Across Borders: The Cultural Intelligence Blueprint for Modern Leaders is my response to that need.

It is designed to equip leaders with the awareness, frameworks, and tools required to lead multicultural and cross-border teams effectively, and to create environments where people do not just adapt, but truly thrive.
